Ready for programs, prizes, and summer reading fun? Registration for Have Book - Will Travel begins tomorrow! Don't miss our kick-off party at 10:00 A.M. in the Community Room!

Registration for Have Book - Will Travel starts in just two days!

All aboard! I dare you - go places you've never been before in books! Earn prizes and join in with great programs at Winnebago Public Library as part of Have Book Will Travel this Summer. Registration starts this week on Wednesday, June 12th at 10:00 a.m.!!

We’ll be traveling Saturday, June 22, at 9:15 A.M. from the library parking lot.  A $5 deposit is required to reserve you party’s seats on the bus. It will be refunded on the day of the program if you attend. Bring your own picnic lunch, or purchase at the museum. (No glass containers or alcoholic beverages are permitted.) You will pay your own admission fees upon arrival at the museum. Admission is $14 for adults, $9 for children and $12 for seniors (62 and older). We expect to be back around 3:30 P.M. Children under 18 must be accompanies by a parent or guardian.

Don't miss the boat! Winnebago Public Library has packed up a world of reading options for all ages as part of its "Have Book - Will Travel" summer reading program. Registration begins June 12th! Please see the June calendar for more details on the events!

The benefits of summer reading are clear. National research from Dominican University finds that students who participate in summer reading programs score higher on reading tests at the beginning of the next school year than those who do not participate. Register your children at the Winnebago Public Library for Have Book - Will Travel beginning June 12th!
